Random Update

Hey there family and friends,

I just wanted to update you on a couple of things going on in the Persson household.

First of all, I'm happy to tell you that it's been just over one month since Mark has had his radiation seed implants and he is feeling very well and has had no ill side effects whatsoever. I guess we didn't need to cut out that coupon for Depends after all, LOLOL. He went for his follow up appointment last week and the doctor said everything is looking...or should I say, feeling, good, LOL. Hey you men out there, don't let this type of doctor exam scare you. It's really important to get yourself checked. Don't assume because you are young or because it doesn't run in your family, that you can't get prostate cancer. Mark is living proof that it can happen against those odds. Okay, where was I? Oh yeah, the doctor doesn't want to see him for another 6 months and at that time they'll do another blood test to check his PSA levels. We prayed for a full recovery so, we're expecting nothing less.

In Other Persson Updates

Krista is now 18 weeks into her pregnancy and is looking and feeling great. She's eating good and keeping her weight gain down so far, hoping that in the long run, the baby will be smaller than Trevor, who weighed 10lbs. 1oz. at birth. Also so that she won't have so much to lose after this baby is born. The Chinese calendar says she having a girl, but we all know that's just for fun. Althooooough, Krista and I put dates in for everyone we know and it always came out to the right sex, LOL. It would be great if she had a little girl this time. She's been feeling the baby kick for weeks now but it wasn't until this past weekend that she and Steve both felt the baby kick on the outside. That just makes if seem even more real now. Her big ultrasound is next week but they will not be finding out the sex of the baby so we'll all have to wait a little bit longer to see if the Chinese calendar is right

We Don't Call Her CrAshley For Nothing!

First it was a tree, then it was a guardrail, next it was a deer and this time it was a pickup truck. Early Saturday evening Ashley and Cora got in a pretty serious fender bender after visiting Erika where she was babysitting. Not to worry though, the protection of our Almighty Father was with her once again and neither of them were hurt. Let's hope this is the last time this happens.

Time is flying

As of today, Cora is 17 months old and Trevor turned 14 months old on February 27th.
